Commissioners for Oaths

In circumstances where an oath must be sworn, for example by an executor as part of the probate process, the person will be required to sign a document with a solicitor present and swear or affirm that the information contained within it is accurate.

When a document requires certification, we can certify that this as being a true copy of the original.

Some of the documents that can be witnessed, sworn and certified include the following:

• Proof of addresses such as bank statements, utility bills and council tax statements
• Powers of Attorneys
• Land Registry ID1 forms
• Statutory Declarations
• Various deeds such as mortgage deeds
